The splints did help me alot. my mom could never open her mouth too far so she had the surgery. She had to have one side done twice. It was a real painful surgery, but in the long run she felt 100% better. On my last x ray, it showed I had NO cartilage in my jaws. I was dx with TJM in my 20's.. think I had rP back then??? << TMJ is short for temporomandibular joint. Your jaw joint in other words. Glad you are cured from problems in that area.
