Guest guest
I was curious about this...can anyone shed some light. A yahoo query on " fructose and monosachride " came up with a number of websites...here is one http://ific.org/publications/qa/fructoseqa.cfm It is listed as an illegal with the following explanation: " Granulated fructose (or even liquid) that is sold as " fructose " has a mixture of other trisaccharides, etc. in it. It is extracted from corn and they are not too fussy about eliminating a few molecules of whatever that may get in with it " but I wonder if anyone has done further investigative work to see if any manufacturer has made fructose from fruit or honey...one of the main reasons I am asking, is my son doesn't seem to like the taste of honey...so I'm trying to find a legal sweetner Thanks!
