Guest guest
I would like to take the opportunity to say thanks for having a place where I can come and vent and know that I have support (this is a support group) when I need it. True, we shouldn't dwell on the bashing or negativity directed towards some physicians. BUT, receiving negative treatment is a HUGE part of living with CP. There is no where near the understanding that this country, or any country for that matter, needs to have before judging patients living with CP. I found this support group while looking for a place that I could share my frustrations, fears, and lack of understanding and also my joy and victories. I don't think that there would be a need for a support group if all outlooks and experiences were positive and upbeat. I came looking for help and support because I was down and I had been " neglected " by the medical community as have the majority of CP patients. If this is going to be a " Support Group " we must take the good with the bad and be supportive regardless. If you want to complain, I'll listen...if you want to shout happily from the rafters, I'll listen. Our number one goal should be to remain happy and upbeat, but this isn't going to be a practical goal if it's required 24/7/365. This is MY opinion and I know opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one. :0)--Kim S.
