Guest guest
Hi , the sweating gets better within a week. If you notice she's sweaty take off the band and towel dry her head and the band. Also dress her very lightly. We were in san franciso area in the summer, and my daughter didn't wear socks for the 5 months she was banded. -christine sydney, 5 yrs, starband grad > > Just wanted to post that today is our first offical day in our BostonBand. My daughter has positional plagio and is 10 months old. We are being told that she should be done in 3 months as long as she takes to wearing it well. > > I guess I'm already noticing how bad she is sweating. It doesn't help that its unseasonably warm here today. I had to take it off of her so that she would finish her nap. She woke up soaked. I do have full plans on putting it back on once she wakes up. We were told the first few days to build up to the 23 hours of wearing it. So I'm taking it hour by hour at this point. I'm hoping come Sunday we are 'full time' and she is doing better with it. > > I guess at this point I'm looking for advice, tips, anything to get me through the next 3 months. > > Thanks! > >
Guest guest
It took my daughter almost 4 weeks to stop sweating in the band completely.Even now, depending on how active she gets she may still sweat a little bit but I only see it when the band comes off for bath time. She is also dressed very lightly during the day (shirt, shorts and sandals) and sleeps in just a shirt, diaper and socks, no blanket. Temperatures here are only getting into the 70s so far and I expect those remaining clothes to fall off towards the end of our band wearing. > > Just wanted to post that today is our first offical day in our BostonBand.
