Guest guest
These are all good! Canola/butter 1/2 cup butter (brought to room temp) 1/2 cup canola oil Olive/butter 1/2 cup butter(brought to room temp) 1/2 cup olive oil Place butter and oil into a blender of food processor. Blend until throughly combined. (The spread will be the consistency of yogurt or thick cream). Spoon into a cup, bowl, or mold; cover and place in refrigerator to firm. For variety add; herbs of your choice, grated citrus fruit rind, or garlic(fresh, not powdered) Canola Mayonnaise 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoon cayenne 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 1/4 canola oil divided 4 tablespoons lemon juice(fresh, not bottled) Allow the oil and the eggs to come to room temp. (I do it as it comes out of the ref and it works) Put the egg, 1/4 cup of the oil, cayenne, sugar, and salt in a blender or food processor, let it run until completely blended, then add lemon juice and remaining oil, with the blender/food processor always on, the remaining oil should be on a steady fine stream, until all gone. Refrigerate. To make aioli add 1 or 2 smashed cloves of garlic, at the beggining with the egg, etc. This is really good for vegetables, sandwiches, grill fish or chicken, yummy Enjoy,
