Guest guest
Dear Christy Temple, I just found your e-mail address on my computer. I had MGB surgery on November 9th, 1999. I have lost 94 pounds so far. I had tried every diet pill and every diet center in the world and nothing worked. When I saw my pulmonary doctor last October I was so depressed he made my appointment with Dr. Rutledge. I saw Dr. Rutledge two times in October and my third visit was in the hospital. I had made up my mind this was the answer to all my prayers. The risks of the surgery did not bother me at all. The risks of not having the surgery were far greater.I went in the hospital on November 9th had my surgery which took about 40 minutes and came home two days later.I was a diabetic, had sleep apnea, besides being over weight. I am no longer using insulin or the c-pap machine and off alot of the medications I was on. If you let me know when you are planning on having surgery maybe I can work it out to be with you. I only live less than 45 minutes from the hospital. I would like to keep in touch with you. Good luck on your surgery and do not be afraid.Things will be so much better for you.I thank God everyday for Dr. Rutledge. He has given me a new out look on life.
