Guest guest
Hello all. Well I had my EUS done and it showed that my pancreas was fine. No swelling and no damage done yet. He definately said I need to get my gall bladder out soon and that it is causing me to have recurrent pancreatitis attacks. My question is, is once they remove the gall bladder will my pain be all gone? I'm trying not to get my hopes up here. My surgeon told me it wouldn't and I would still have daily pain. Where as the GI who did my EUS seemed to think that removing the gall bladder would help tremendously. He said if it didn't then I need to look at my pancreas divisum as my problem. But he also agreed with the surgeon that surgery to fix the divisum is not an option. So i'm pretty confused here. I would be so happy if removing this gall bladder would solve all my pain, but i'm also scared that removing it might not do a thing. Thanks for any replies.
