Guest guest
Thanks Sandy, Heidi, and Jerry! Well no awful effects yet. I'm having to-day of school though. I have a questionnaire to fill in for the British Society of Gastroenterologists. They are conducting a survey on the protocol surrounding this procedure in order to work towards consistency in all British hospitals. I have to wait a full week before filling it in, so I guess they must assume that 7 days should pass before one can be sure that there are no complications directly ERCP-linked. However, if I get through to-day I shall be very hopeful that all is well this time. I had an ERCP back in 1988 and had a very bad reaction but it only started several hours after the test. Both my lovely gastro/endoscopist, who did yesterday's test, and my pancreatologist have said that complications are less frequent when CP is advanced, with calcifications etc. That's me folks! I don't like to count my chickens, but.....I'm hopeful! Yes, I did sign something, ...but whether or not it was a large cheque to someone or a consent form for juice analysis, I cannot say! Warm wishes to all! Fliss (UK)
