Guest guest
Welch's is the brand that Elaine personally checked out, and got written confirmation from the company that nothing illegal was added.... ever. So, that one has always been " legal " on SCD.... and many, many followers of SCD have used it without any problems over the years. To use another brand, even if the labeled ingredients look identical, you would need to get that written (hard copy, not e-mail) confirmation from the manufacturer.... then you could feel free to use it for your family. We here on pecanbread unfortunately don't have the authority to deem any new product to be " officially " legal for SCD, across the board. With Elaine now gone, there really is not anyone who has that authority. But, we already have such a wide variety of legal, safe juices that are already on the list.... we feel good about that, knowing that there are good options that will insure success on the diet. Patti juice comparison I went to walmart to get my typical welch's. I decided to compare ingredients in the Welch's to the Walmart brand. They both have the exact same ingredients in the exact same order. Both say no sugar added and 100% juice. I can not find ANY difference. Does anyone know why we are not allowed to use this juice?
