Guest guest
Hi Group, I haven't been on the group for a while. I've had many attacks in the last few months, however none quite bad enough for a hospital stay. I've had chronic pancreatitis for 3.5 years now. I had my 3rd CT scan last month and the Dr.'s nurse told me my cyst has gotten bigger (it was 2.5 CM) and I am to see the Dr. Monday 11-21-04. She called me while I was in Florida on a trip last week and left me a message " can you come in Thursday? " although my Dr. only sees patients on Mondays. She gave me the feeling that she wasn't telling me something (A voice of deep concern and urgency was in her voice). I've read through almost 500 emails from the group and wish all of you the very best. My questions for the group are: What is up when a cyst is bigger than 2.5 CM? Why do I keep having more attacks? I don't drink alcohol and stay less than 20 grams of fat per day. Every time I have had an attack, does by pancreas become less functional? I just want to be sure to ask the Dr. all the right questions tomorrow. Thanks in advance for your experiences, in St. Louis, MO USA
