Post Whipple flare ups - Bob

Bob et al,

What exactly is a post whipple flare up? I am VERY familiar with

SOD and my pank feeling like it is writihing around inside me. But,

that is pre-whipple. No SOD anymore. I still have bad pain on the

days I try and eat real food. But...what is to be expected? The CP

didn't magically go away. My accute attacks always started with a

huge SOD attack. The kind that put one on the floor wishing for

death. The pank felt like a dolphin flopping around inside me. So,

what is the worse case scenario? I am troubled by the fact that my

levels may not go up. That was always the indicator in emergency.

I hesitate to talk about this as we have so many peeps ready to have

a whipple and I don't want to scare anyone. So, I will say that I

know two ladies that have had a whipple and are just fine and

dandy. One of them never lost an ounce of weight.
