Our 7.5 mo. old daughter has been in her helmet for almost 3 weeks now. It's one

of the clear Starlight helmets. I am happy to report that we are already seeing

improvement! At her 2 wk appt. she already had almost 1 cm of growth in the

circumference & positive #s in the directions we need her head to grow.

I'm so relieved that we're seeing progress so quickly. I was very nervous about

banding her but she adjusted quickly and fairly easily. It took her a few weeks

to get back to her normal sleeping patterns but that's about it.

We have had no red spots or skin issues so far. I like that the helmet is clear

so we can see pressure points. Also, we have had no issues with stink as it's

really easy to clean. I think the orthotist must have made a really good fit.

One fun thing we've discovered is that stickers are very easy to apply & remove

from the helmet. So we've been changing the design every few days. We even let

our friends' kids decorate the helmet one day, which they thought was really

neat. Their 3 year old son was calling it her 'space helmet'.

I'm glad to hear that your daughter is doing so well and that other kids are accepting of the helmet. I always liked changing out Tyler's stickers too. That is wonderful. Can you tell me if they use the starscanner for the star light as well? I'm just curious. Update on Starlight helmet
