Guest guest
Thanking all of you who expressed who could check my levels, & where, etc. ....I think my internist knows next to nothing about this disease, and I guess that I am just getting tired of always telling them what to do! Just this last week I refilled my Creon 20's and I have refills, but the pharmacy called back to say the ins. would not pay because my doc wrote 1 tab per meal, in otherwords 3 per day. I have been taking 2 per meal, not unless it's a snack & thank Buddha that I still have my vegetarian enzymes....and the internist said she would have to have approval from the G.I.......dah, this is a food not a pain med....and so I emailed Dr. Hoffman from MUSC, who never writes prescriptions for me, but does always answer & suggest things, but I hate this thing where I know more about my illness than the internist & then they think you are a trouble maker & a know it all! So I have taken 's advice & ordered Solgar's pancreatic enzymes, cause when I went to pick up my pres. they had just refilled the same 3 per day, and wanted $123.00 for 100 tabs. I said no thank you & will call back on the 18th of month when the ins. pays. I cannot believe they are more than a buck a pill?? We need to find out how to make these suckers fast! It's pig, porcine, for God sakes, not gold....what a rip off! Anyway, enough complaining from me, none of them are helping anyway! Love to you all & stay warm...this from the woman who still dresses like a Eskimo, also have Raynauds in my finger tips, all 1O of them, & making a nose warmer! I see a new rheumy March 1st.....I bet my pancreatitis is going to be from my auto-immune diseases that my Mother & I carry....the HLA-B27 gene & scleraderma. Keep u posted.... in ton, S.C.
