Guest guest
Decided to post this separately as my post " Questions re. Pseudocyst Surgery " was getting pretty long. In addition to supplements I mentioned there I take a one-a-day Theragran-M vitamin/ mineral tab. No-one commented on my earlier question about whether a calcium supplement would help nails splitting. My PCP says it could just be a side effect of my initial attack last year and that the part of nails growing at that time is just now reaching the ends. Sounds weird. Possible? Stool has been getting a little hard the past month, so trying some Metamucil. If that has no effect, do you think I might try reducing Lipram from two to one per meal? That's all I was prescribed from time of my initial attack in May 04 until Sept when endoscopic doc increased Rx. I think that was because I was complaining of pain and continuing weight loss at that time. Anyone had experience with & /or recommendations for GI surgeons or other GI docs in Sacramento or rest of northern California? Most on PAI data base are in southern California. I'll add mine to data base after my treatment gets further along. Except for my user group's forum I've had little experience with message boards. In a Feb 3 post Karyn recommends not repeating entire previous message when you post. I understand how that happens when composing a reply in a regular email program, but I don't see how that would occur when posting a reply on the yahoo website board unless I actually copy/pasted previous message. Just wondering, as I want to use right netiquette. I " m a Mac-addict, so I don't always appreciate what you pc users have to endure (along with the viruses). It would be nice to meet or communicate with any Caleeforneeans (as our governor pronounces it). I notice there are very few CA members on the map, data base list, or " Where You Live " poll, and of those, Kimber is about the only one currently posting on the board. As Karyn mentioned a few days ago, I am impressed with the support and compassion that is going on among members, and hope with some more experience, I can be of help or encouragement to others with our affliction.
