Guest guest
Kathleen, I do agree with what you have stated. But on the Pres. Bush post, it was stated in the subject line " Pres Bush". This should tell us that it is not RP related and it can be deleted before it is opened. If you do open it , the first sentence should tell us that we don't need to read any further if it offends anyone. I feel we should not have to include a prayer request in the subject line. We would have to do that on most all of them. I think when we as for good thoughts or prayers it is used in general and whatever your beliefs may be, you will do what you will. This is really a touchy subject. This group does not mean to offend any one in any way. I agree with Heidi in her post. Angie started this group and her guidelines were to be open to EVERYONE. She wanted humor in the group, so we always sent jokes or funny posts to brighten some dreary days. (Angie LOVED a good joke) Those seem to have stopped too. She believed in prayer requests and the right to not read what you didn't want to. I don't think we should change anything and just try to keep as many happy as possible. In a group this size we can't please everyone, but we can sure try. By just including something in the subject line would help, but there will be times that something just slips in. Sharon I don't know why you were singled out. Please do not take this personally. There have been past members who do not post any more because they were singled out too and I REALLY miss them. Religion, Sex, Race, ect is not an issue in this group. PLEASE, let's all try to do what this group was meant for. Support, love and understanding. We all have ONE thing in common, RP and we also have stress, daily problems, other illnesses ect that this group also supports. I am so thankful for each one of you. I love you all for who you are. Because you are all so different. That is what makes us the greatest support group ever. So Please, lets just use our delete buttons more and love each other for who we are. Just my thoughts. I think that people get touchy when the list is used to get preachy. Like the posts about Pres. Bush and his prayer requests for/from the nation
