I would like to know if anyone has problems with

indigestion/heartburn etc...I have been SCD for 5 years now. It

saved my life from Crohn's disease. However, in the last year or so

I have had fatigue, severe burping and indigestion. Also, during

these indigestion attacks I get a lot of mucous running down my

throat. It gets worst if I go to the gym and get my blood moving. I

have been on high dose antibiotics like 3 or 4 times in the last two

years and have eaten excessively (especially honey and meat) at

times, although not in the last 2 months. My stools have been and

still are perfect (except for some putrefaction as described

below). Any suggestions on what can be the cause of all of this?

Anyone experience this? I am thinking candida so I started making

kefir and taking primal defense (2 months now)(I know it's illegal

but I figured I would give it a fair chance because even if it does

feed nasties it still is a very potent probiotic)

Also there are a few other questions on my mind. What do people

here feel about putrefactive dysbiosis. (I've experienced this

myself as I used to eat way too much meat and not enough fiber:

constipation, thin hard stools, bleeding, fatigue, very smelly gas)

If there are some nasty bugs that feed on meats, fats, proteins wont

the SCD do more harm than good? I am asking this because it is

obvious to me that some bug is causing all the gas and disturbances,

however I dont know if its feeding on excessive fat, protein, sugar

or food in general.

Secondly, how does one know if they should increase their use of

probiotics. Can't there be some hardy strains of bad bugs that

could only be wiped out by using larger amounts of probiotics?

I've tried every thing. I cant tell the difference between symptoms

and dieoff and do not know how long to give things a try for.

Please help! Thank you very much, sorry about all the different

questions.
