Guest guest
Yes, you can buy magnesium off the shelf at a health food store. I have NOW brand magnesium citrate, in capsules, which I know is legal. You just have to compare the label to the list of legal/illegal supplement additives on www.pecanbread.com under " Supplements " . You might want to print that list out and take it with you. Look especially at the section of the label marked " other ingredients " . You can just open the capsules and sprinkle into food. Dosage-wise, it depends on his size/weight.... and how many milligrams are in each capsule. You may have to experiment. Vitamin C can also help loosen stools. Patti Re: Squash Smell We have been doing the electrolyte drink and epsom salt lotion with every diaper change. He is drinking a lot so I know that's not the problem as I'm changing lots of very wet diapers. Do I find the Magnesium at a health food store? Is there any particular brand, or just look for one that doesn't have illegals? Thank You!!!! > Is he taking any magnesium? Magnesium oxide or magnesium citrate are usually somewhat laxative. >
