Guest guest
I was diagnosed about a week ago and it was not pretty. I was in the ER and had been there before for the same thing, severe stomach pain and other issues. Anyway, I don't do well with hospitals and left ASAP, against medical advice. I have since gone to see my doctor and she has put me on a lot of vitamins and supplements. Yesterday I had to get up early and go have a lot of blood drawn and give other samples. I go for another Dr. visit next week and for now, my Dr. has advised my wife that if I go into pain or anything else, to get me to the ER, (That is because I probably would not go on my own). Since I have been out I have not had a drink, and more importantly have not had the urge at all. This is after 8 years of heavy drinking, (Past two years, a liter a day). Today is the first day that I have woke with out too much pain, (About 2-3 on a scale of 1- 10). I still feel a little dizzy, (Mr Dr. says that my vertigo is probably 90% caused by pancreatitis). I wanted to ask, does anyone know if pancreatitis caught in the early stages can be arrested? Or is it possible to have an attack without actually having pancreatitis? Or am I just dreaming? I am going to do pretty much what ever my Dr. says, but I was curious about what others have seen. Clayton clay94109@...
