From:

Dear friends,

in Vegas here. 6 days to my ALJ hearing and I still haven't

heard from my appointed attorney. I hired Binder & Binder and they have

attorneys all over the US...except for Vegas, so they'll be sending

my a representative from Santa Ana CA. he should have recieved

my " file " by now because it was all sent from the main B & B ofice in

NYC. I really don't like facing the possibility of swinging in the

breeze over the weekend and not getting any feedback from him before

the weekend. It's taken 2 years to get me to this point and I'm more

than ready and wanting to get this over and behind me.

Now for my main question: I've been on methadone about 4 years now

and it's done a woderful job on my pain without knocking my d*ck in

the dirt. However I get breakthrough pain, especially the pain and

cramping of steathorrea which I don't need to elaborate upon how

painful and unpleasant that can be. Another member on here had

written that they too are on methadone for their pancreatitis pain

but have breakthroughs also. Does this oxy work for you? I had taken

Oxy IR (instant release) with oxycontin frm another pain mgmt. doc

with marginal succes. However for me the withdrawals would come

around too quickly and it outweighed the benefit of the drug. I was

also under the impression that methadone blocks the effects of other

opiate analgesics...so this is incorrect?

If anyone out there has experienced this quandary I would love to

hear back from you, and if/how you made it work for you.

Peace, Love, STAY WELL!

- Lowell
