Guest guest
Thank you Chrissy for the well wishes. That was the first time in almost three years that I didn't suffer from pain after eating fast food. I couldn't believe it. We eat at home 95% of the time. My husband loves to eat out.....all that fattening, greasy food. Captain D''s was his favorite....YUK! But now he suffers from gout and he knows if he eats too much of that kind of food, he'll be in pain. And he's a big baby when it comes to pain! I have never had anything done to my sphincter. I have an appointment with a gastro at the end of the month. I have other problems too, autoimmune hepatitis and a blood disorder. That has taken preference over the eatting problems. But it is that pain that gives me more trouble than anything else. Maybe this doctor will listen to me. I have had enough surgeries in my lifetime. My hematolgist said it would be the last thing he would do to me because I don't react to things, like meds, like everyone else does. He says I'm weird.............ever been called weird by a doctor! Chrissy.........all my prayers and best wishes are with you. Warm thoughts..........Pam ga wrote: Sometimes just getting out of the bed in the morning can become excruciating. I really look forward to having some peace. I had a tranduodenal sphincteroplasty for my sod and it worked like a charm. Unfortunetately it was too little too late, the surgeon saw how my panc had atrophied. It may be a good option for you. You are obviously putting out enzymes since you were able to eat that CB without having horrible pain. That is actually agood sign. The damaage may be just at the sphincter and your pain is related to how the ssphincter responds to what and when you eat. Sometimes I think " when " plays a very large part. If you have been eating well for a while, then eat " bad " and have no horrible outcome your sphincter must be responding appropriately at least sometimes. Have you had your sphincter treated in anyway? You might respond well to repetative stenting. I couldn't eat a wendys burger and live to tell about it....lol. However I have made homemade and do ok. But I am in constant pain, so it is just degrees of what I can tolerate at this point. Next week will tell all; I will either get well or not. Wheewww no stress there....lol. I wish you a life time of cheeseburgers without pain. Warmly, Chrissy > > I totally agree chrissy!
