Guest guest
Hi Meleah, According to Defelice's book, it's best to give it at the beginning or before the meal, but if you forget, you can give it during or after since the food sits in the stomach for 60-90 minutes. Debbie Digestive enzymes If I forget to give digestive enzymes right at the beginning of the meal, is it useless to give it part way through? I forget fairly frequently. Usually, it's after he's had a bannana, bowl of yogurt, ect. that I realize I forgot to give the enzyme. I've thought about giving it part way through his meal once I realize the mistake, but don't want to waste it if it won't do any good at that point.
