Guest guest
Im new here, please bare with me and my long post. Im sure they all look alike. I wouldnt be here though if I didnt think someone out there could help me or point mein the right direction. Im 27 years old, male and I used to drink a bit. 5 years ago I got really nauseated (they all start like this dont they?) when my bouts first started they werent followed by many other symptoms except that I would get really sick every now and then. Fash forward to now.I have lived with this sickness the whole time. Ive had alot of GI work done. Upper endo, lower endo, CAT scan, MRi, gastric emtpying, gallbladder tests, blood tests, stool samples the works. I was told by my GI specialist that I may have IBS or he may just have to take out my gallbladder. Since then there are a group of symptoms that are with me always. Every morning I have a bowel movement at 9am that makes me feel ill until i take a shower and relax. I wake at 9am and am not ready to take on the day until 11am. My bowel movements are usually very loose and orange, latley they have been solid and dark with white fuzzy spots on it. My breath tastes like feces. I have a small lump on my right side. And I usually get very sick at about 7pm without warning at least 3 times a week. My skin is itchy and dry, and when I get real sick I have a sour smell to my body odor. Even if I just got out of the shower. Hot shower really help my episodes but they dont cure the cause. Sometimes I can eat all day, and then other times I eat a bite and my gut hurts. Especially in the morning. I dont eat out at resturants anymore and I dont do family dinners. I have told all of these things to my GI dr. but he just nods his head, tells me to take a deep breath, take my weight, temp gives a prescription for Robinol and sends me home. At this point I have lost my job, and my ability to see my specialist. I have been denied disability because I have not actually been diagnosed with anything and I really am at the end of my rope. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
