A Little Balance Please...

Can we get a little balance here... has ANYONE heard

from Dr. Rutledge about the list???

I was a " web only " viewer of the posts, so it was a

little confusing when the hyperlink was removed. I

didn't think it was anything Machevelian by Dr. R, LT

or e-groups. Truthfully I thought it was my computer,

until I tried it again from my laptop. Now I know that

the problem is universal.

If indeed it was Dr. R. a post would have been nice

as a warning, but then again, if it was for the reason

of LT using old posts, that would have given her

forewarning to get more fodder for her agenda.

Anyway, I signed up for the digest version and I do

find the list incredibly supportive. You guys are

GREAT. You answer questions, you bring up good topics

and it's really served its purpose as a form of real

support for anyone who is obese, not only those

getting the MGB.

I have NEVER been able to share and talk about my

weight until now and it's as freeing as going braless

or something! I mean it's like no girdle and no panty

hose. Ladies, you know what its like when you can't

WAIT to get home and get out of all that binding wear.

Well that's what I felt like when I could FINALLY be

honest about my struggle with obesity.

Before this surgery and before on line support about

GB in general, I thought I was a hopeless case, and

now that I can look forward to a " cure " I am willing

to talk to ANYBODY... who me?... yup... I'm over 300

pounds... NEXT... who me... yup, I needed that seat

belt extension...

I mean before this year, I could NEVER talk about

these things freely, now I am ready for my soapbox...

(Oh... you want me to get down now?) OK
