- lipase and amylase tests

I haven't had a chance to read all the messages, yet, to see if you've

had an answer for this, so excuse the repeat if you have.

ANY physician can order a lipase and amylase test. I've had them done

by my Internist, My Endo, my Pain Management doctor, my GI and

physician's whom I've never seen before in the ER.

Hope that helps. If a physician tells you differently, they're wrong.
