Guest guest
I developed carpal tunnel syndrome a little over a year ago. My Mds told me I needed to have surgery. I said, no thanks, I can handle this fine. They are so not going to cut me again. So I did the brace, the night brace, excercising, etc.. and it continued to get worse. I went back to the MD and he sent me for the lovely shock tests. Yup, they definetly are not fun tests. Carpal tunnel both hands. I was told if I continue to ignore the numbness that it will cause permanent numbness. It will do irreversable damage to the nerves, from the compression in the wrist. I so love my yard work and everything else so permanent hand problems was not for me. So I did the surgery, only one hand for now. Let me tell you, the surgery was a piece of cake. Once you have panc issues, everything else seems so minimal. My hand is PERFECT now. No pains, numbness, no dropping things and I can actually feel my pencil in my hand again. Why did I wait so long? This is nice having my hand back to full power Just letting you all know my experience, maybe can help someone else. Love, w
