Guest guest
Hello Heidi, I was interested to read your update....it was the first thing I read in my attempt to catch up on all the posts .....I haven't got very far! I'm so glad it went well and that you feel secure with the doctor's assessment and advice. It seems similar to what I have been told about my own case, ie better to avoid surgery for the moment while I am able to keep the pain controlled and well-managed with my current regime of diet, Creon, pain-killers, life-style etc. It is good that you have docs with whom you have been able to discuss the matter so thoroughly and on whose judgement you can rely. That is so important. I'm sorry about the pseudocysts.....they seem determined they have found a good home with you! Hopefully, if and when they finally resolve, that will be another step in good pain-control and may help in your tapering plans. Still, you must feel reassured that the specialist feels happy about your current medication. Thank you again for your kind message about Jim. We await further info, of course. Good luck with the teeth. Last time I was in Spain I broke a tooth and had to ask one of my sons to have an appointment ready for me when I came home. This time a crown came loose and I was very gappy for the last couple of days! Again, it's straight to the dentist. I hope your dental dealings go well before all the festivities begin. Good luck and good wishes, Fliss (UK)
