The drive takes about two hours each way. It's not a bad drive. It's definitely worth it. I think the DOC band is the gold standard for cranial orthotics!! Guest guest
I live in South Jersey and have also been making the bi-weekly trip to Paramus since August. It takes me roughly 1.5 hours each way, but I always allow 2 hours drive time. Totally worth it! When we started this process, I didn't really know about STAR Band, or Hanger. As far as I knew, DOC Band was the only one out there. After we got it, I joined this group and learned that there are other helmets out there. And there is even a STAR Band provider in Philly (Harry J. Lawall & sons). I actually went there for a consult when CT was giving me a bit of a hard time about a second band (I thought we should go for it, but they thought Tyler looked pretty good). Anyway, I talked to Traci at Harry J. Lawall and was pleased with their advice / service. Ultimately, we ended up with a second DOC Band. Even today, I still feel like we chose the best provider and I would make the same decision again to make the drive to North Jersey instead of going into Philly for the STAR Band. Hope that helps. > > > > Hello - I live in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. Guest guest
I forgot to mention that once you get your band, you can get a free vinyl wrap through Sunrise Signs in West Deptford, NJ. Here's a link to more info: http://www.sunrisesigns.com/wraps-4-wellness/ My son is the one in the green dino design. ;-) > > Hello - I live in the western suburbs of Philadelphia.
