Hello- I live in delaware county and have been making the trip to the cranial

tech in Paramus, NJ every two weeks since Nov. The drive takes about two hours

each way. It's not a bad drive. It's definitely worth it. I think the DOC band

is the gold standard for cranial orthotics!!

I live in South Jersey and have also been making the bi-weekly trip to Paramus

since August. It takes me roughly 1.5 hours each way, but I always allow 2

hours drive time. Totally worth it! When we started this process, I didn't

really know about STAR Band, or Hanger. As far as I knew, DOC Band was the only

one out there. After we got it, I joined this group and learned that there are

other helmets out there. And there is even a STAR Band provider in Philly

(Harry J. Lawall & sons). I actually went there for a consult when CT was

giving me a bit of a hard time about a second band (I thought we should go for

it, but they thought Tyler looked pretty good). Anyway, I talked to Traci at

Harry J. Lawall and was pleased with their advice / service. Ultimately, we

ended up with a second DOC Band. Even today, I still feel like we chose the

best provider and I would make the same decision again to make the drive to

North Jersey instead of going into Philly for the STAR Band.

Hope that helps.

I forgot to mention that once you get your band, you can get a free vinyl wrap

through Sunrise Signs in West Deptford, NJ. Here's a link to more info:

My son is the one in the green dino design. ;-)
