Guest guest
we're on day 2 of the intro diet and i'm confused as to when to introduce new foods. i do have the chart from pecanbread.com. my daughter's problem is eczema that is a result of food intolerance/ leaky gut. eczema takes a long time to clear up, according to her acupuncturist. she has normal bowel movements, with occasional tummy aches and big belly. questions: do i stay on the INTRO diet until the eczema clears completely? if i do proceed with introducing Stage 1 foods, what criterion do i use for moving to the next stage--perhaps just that her eczema doesn't worsen? how long do i give a new food to react? i read someone say don't introduce more than 2 new foods per week. lastly, is it a bad idea to start up my coconut yogurt (with homemade coconut milk) again so early? i didn't notice a reaction before, but i heard coconut is for after you've been on the diet for 6 months. i'm rationalizing that since she doesn't have diarrhea or any of the more severe conditions of the typical person on this diet, she might be able to handle it. thanks again! i'm really learning so much on this email list. i'm so grateful to all of you taking the time to help us newbies. silvia daughter (2) with eczema, scd since yesterday!
