Guest guest
I am a pre-op and at this point I have no experience, HOWEVER, I have lots of experience in dealing with vulnerable people and being bound by confidentiality, as do all of you nurses and lawyer, etc. I can believe that this post contained some truth- from the poster's perspective. I also know that it is easy to hear what we want to hear and she wanted to hear that she was having surgery. I also know that we will never know the whole story because only one party is free to openly talk about this case. Having been the person holding the case file and prohibited by law from explaining my action while knowing that it was the only acceptable action, I have to say that what we read is a perception of what happened, assuming this is not another alias. There are too many good people who are thanking Dr. R for their lives- I know, as you do because I have talked to them on the telephone- for me to let one upset person present what she " experienced " as gospel. Sorry to go on. Guess I've had this " one-sided presentation of facts " issue in my bonnet too long. Can't wait to see you guys in Durham at the Support meeting. What time is that thing again?
