I think the only way the docs are going to be able to rule out

gallbladder as the cause of your discomfort is to remove it. There

is a very good chance that your pain will be decreased after having

it removed. If the pain were to continue, ya'll can then focus

elsewhere as a source.

I often wonder what would have happened had I not had my gallbladder

removed when I had. Everything would have happened anyway and I

might have been much older and weaker and not able to withstand it

as well as I have thus far. I didn't have, or should I say, I

didn't know I had cp until after my gallbladder was removed (which

did not have to be removed at the time) that I started have attacks

of sod and when they did an ercp they discovered the damage.

Anyway, I didn't mean to carry on so. What I am trying to say is

having your gallbladder removed may very well alleviate a great deal

of discomfort, like somebody else had said, allowing your pancreas

to drain more effectively. Or it will force them to look elsewhere

for the source. Either way, you will be moving forward.

I will certainly continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers and

will hope that your pain will be greatly reduced after having a lap

chole. If you choose to have it done, please let me know when and I

will mark it on my calander to remind me.

Warmly,

Chrissy
