Aunt B., condolences on the loss of your uncle, but congratulations on your

journey to England--I could go back again and again and again--if only I had

Thanks for missing me!

Everything was so busy getting ready for the trip to England that I was over

a week behind in reading my email when we left.

England was damp and moldy yet very beautiful, too. We visited churches, and

pottery shops and even went to a flea market while there, and a castle with a

mall built into it. We spend a few days in London and saw so much while

there. We really were impressed with Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and the

inspection

of the palace equestrian guards. Liked riding the " Tube " but not the

stairways up and down, up and down!!! And thought the top deck of the double

decker

bus was really neat!

Bought too much stuff--had to ship part of it to get it back here--absolutely

loved Henry 's pottery shop. Great trip! 'Cept for the

prices---Whew!!! Stuff is very expensive there!!!!!

I have been quite lately 'cause I have just been trying to get caught up on

my reading--tried to read at least 2 days of CFParents email--every day. Am

finally caught up!

Yippee!!!

I get the digest version and have been having to copy and send some of the

stuff from Hal and n to DH--Art because he wants to know " what have they

had to say now??? " We are both enjoying the history lessons from Has and also

learning a lot about Brazil.

Since history and geography are two of our favorite subjects, this is very

interesting stuff to us.

Of course, I had to send him the old and new pictures stuff (n & Hal)

and the Buster Brown stuff--too funny to keep to myself!!!

One sad thing--my Mom's baby brother passed away. Mom was stranded in

Illinois with flights canceled or very much delayed and could not make it back

here

for funeral. I went and it was great seeing family but sad, too.

This is turing into a marathon post.
