I see that there are many in here that have diabetes resulting from

their CP....Type I or II? Is it normal to have elevated blood sugar

levels while having an attack of pancreatitis? My dad is Type II,

so I already have the risk from heredity, but I'm concerned about

developing it because of the damage to my pancreas. I checked it an

hour after eating and it was 190. I haven't had anything to eat or

drink since 11:30 AM to see if it might have just been something I

ate or drank, but I just checked it and it's 125. My amylase levels

have been elevated for awhile now. When checking it in the past, it

has usually been between 70-90. If y'all have any idea, please let

me know. :0)--Kim S.
