Guest guest
My name is Kim, and I'm 25 years old. The first time I had pancreatitis was 3 years ago following the removal of my galbladder. I have been in and out of the hospital many times since that first attack and have finally been diagnosed with chronic panc. I have been to MUSC in Charelston where Dr. Cotton preformed an ERCP and sphincterotomy and then went to see a doctor at Emory in Atlanta. The problem is...I have chronic pancreatitis and there is no answer as to why I have it. More than that, no one is helping me!! I long for a doctor who would understand what I am going through and be willing to help me figure out where to go from here. I live in western NC and would love to know if anyone out there could refer me to a doctor in this area who can help. Please let me know!
