Guest guest
I heard from Dr.Cotton's office today, and I am scheduled to go to MUSC Feb.23...I'm not sure if they're going to the procedure this day, or just prep me...either way I figure I'll be down in ton for a few. He is going to attempt fixing the draining problem via ERCP. If he gets in there and sees that it isn't possible, he'll hopefully do the open surgical approach the next day. I hope to get as much taken care of in one visit as possible. Isn't it standard MUSC procedure to keep patients at least one night following an ERCP procedure? My avg. stay has been 3 days each time I've had something done there due to flaring of my pancreas and lots of pain following the procedure. If any of y'all will be down that way around this time, I'd love to meet ya in person. I'm so happy that I'm not going to have to wait so long to get this over with...he worked me in ASAP. Love that man!! Well, guess I better go check on the cookies...my son was really wanting some " tooties " and he can't wait any longer! :0)---Kim S.
