Guest guest
Marilyn, No it probably was a smart thing to stop for a bit. My old rheumy was really more interested in the fibro then the RP. He told me I HAD to exercise my muscles, but it might just mean trying to raise my arms or rolling my shoulders. You DOn't want to damage your muscles any more because with fibro, they don't heal. The lack of deep sleep keeps us from repairing our bodies, so you don't want to use any weights if you are already hurting too bad. Just take it slow. I started by just being able to walk to my mail box when my legs were so bad. This cold weather just doesn't help with the fibro. Please take it easy Marilyn and be sure to ask your rheumy about this. I took Ultram for the pain and it helped alot. REST and keep those muscles WARM!. hugs Probably not a smart thing to do, (quitting), but I thought I needed to give it a break.
