Hello again Heidi!

Good luck again for tomorrow. They must have some other sort of

pain medication in mind. I'd love to know what. I have to say that

my codeine/paracetamol mix which, as you might remember, helps to

control my panc pain, and is very effective unless it's really very

bad, never even touches any other kind of pain!! I've only had

toothache once and my " Cocodamol " , as they're called were as useless

as a tube of sweeties.....except that they don't contain sugar to

make the teeth worse!! I once had quite severe pain following a

badly sprained hand and, again, useless!! Yet within minutes of

drinking my tablets mixture (effervescent, soluble ones) I

experience at least a measure of blessed relief from my regular panc

pain.

Bizarre??? Different types of pain meds?

Of course I will be thinking about you. I've just come back from the

dentist where I was being " measured " for a new crown as the old one

doesn't fit properly. I told my dentist about you and he was very

sympathetic. He's always been very understanding of my condition and

told me it was well known that pancreatic pain is among the very

worst that human beings can experience.

Well, better get ready for my low-fat, non-alcoholic meal out this

evening! Good luck for tomorrow.

With love,

Fliss (UK)
