Another funny doc story...

Angie (aka Crazy Lipstick Woman) has inspired me to tell of

my " GoLightly " experience...

If anyone has had to have a colonoscopy, you know about

GoLightly...for those who haven't...it's a super colon cleanser!

The nurses brought me in this gallon jug of stuff one morning and

told me that it had to be drunk by a certain time...so I started

chugging the nasty tasting stuff. I saw that I was getting very far

on it, so I asked for a straw...they came back with an oxygen tube

that had been cut up to make me a straw and I went to slurping.

It didn't take very long to see that this GoLightly stuff worked

fast and I was soon making frequent visits. My doctor was a very

serious man who was ALL business...never smiling or laughing. He

came into my room and I must have been sitting in that hospital bed

with a total " I feel like crap " look on my face because he asked me

what was wrong. I told him that I hated the stuff I was drinking.

He said, oh, you do not like the GoLightly? I said, GoLightly my

@$$,it's more like GoQuickly or GoSwiftly...everytime I stand up I

have to go to the bathroom.

He actually cracked a smile and laughed!! Me and my hubby couldn't

believe it...it must have been like the first time in history!! We

have had many a laughs over that one and will always refer to the

drink as GoQuickly. Take care!! :0)--Kim
