Hi!

When you have an NG tube post op, you aren't allowed anything (water, etc)

by mouth. This was Cat's experience when she had her open RNY in '97.

She was amazed to see me being wheeled into my room with no tube AND a cup

of ice chips in my hand. *grin*

Yes. It's one of the best things about the MGB. IMNSHO.
