Guest guest
I am restarting the diet and am going to try and stick to a low amine content. I have been doing SCD for about 6 months now, originally started for yeast issues in my son and myself. I suspect the problems we have been having of late are do to amine sensitivity and overproduction of histamine. We had been doing no dairy because I was trying to rule out problems but am willing to try it again. There are not many beginner foods that are amine low. Can someone help me out with a good list of starting foods, esp. veggies, and then a good progression? What about juice? How does yogurt work in to a low Amine diet? Is my CLO high in amines, we take Quantum high vitamin CLO? more background:My son is a year old and eats:pureed lamb, veal, turkey, carrots, butternut and spaghetti squashes, green beans. I had been giving him chicken liver but see it is high in amines. He still breastfeeds, it is about half of his intake of food. Thanks!
