Guest guest
Greetings Fellow MGB'ers, I doubt most of you remember me( K., 26, special ed teacher from MD, a little on the chunky side), I haven't posted in a while. I have been lurking the past few months while patiently trying to get my pre-op physical scheduled, actually getting the results (a more painful process than I ever thought possible), and now finishing my package for Dr. R. I'm having flashbacks to grad school while writing my letter! But I am not writing to complain, I am writing to share something that I hope is valuable to people just beginning this process. A few days ago I completed my on-line application and received my insurance letter. Read it, re-read it, and edit it carefully. This is in no way a criticism of Dr. R. or his staff, I recognize how busy they all are, BUT, it contains many many grammatical errors. Much of it that directly relates to you is cut and pasted into the letter and there is a lot of room for illogical transitions. I don't want anything to hamper the insurance process for me, certainly not type-o's or poorly written phrases. BTW, I just got off the phone with my own insurance company who informed me that since I have an exclusion on my policy for weight loss surgery, my application goes directly into the appeal stage. I'll be buying my lottery ticket this evening. Good luck to everyone! from land p.s. Is there going to be a MD, DC, NoVa support groups meeting? I saw mention of something but somehow missed the details. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
