My Sunday

Well, I made it to the Pumpkin Fair. Didn't get ANY Christmas shopping done,

but sur spent a lot on me. LOL Had a great time. We came home and then took

back and we had a good time then too.!! But boy was it HOT. It

wasn't suppose to be. It was 96 degrees. I think I sweated off a good 20

pounds. I wish. LOL

The only down part of the day was when Rich and I went to have lunch and ran

into some old neighbors we havent' seen in years. They didn NOT recognize us

at all. They looked at us like we were aliens. These are people that we

were really close to. After looking at me and blurting out " OH MY GOD!!! "

we thought it best to just go sit in the next booth and eat our sandwich.

They didn't even make an attempt to say goodbye when they left. These people

are young. well in their late 30's. It really hurt our feelings. I know my

looks have changed. I'm not 40 yrs old, 115 pounds and have long blond hair.

( Geez,.... I wish... LOL) but, where is the compassion.??

I'm sorry, I didn't think I'd get off on this subject. LOl Now I see why I

don't want to go out. LOL

We had a great time anyway, except I think I stayed gone a bit too long an am

paying tonight. Oh Well.... tomorrow my sister will be here and I have rehab

so I should feel great.

I hope you all had a great weekend. Hope this week is good for all and we

can start getting better.

I will try to get on line daily, but with my sister here, she takes a lot of

I HATE THAT when someone who hasn't seen me during my illness and

ongoing weight gain doesn't recognize me!!!!!!! At least with our

get together, we are all mostly in the same boat, or at least

understanding about that cruise ship to large sizes!! Take care and

have fun with your sister.
