Guest guest
Hello, Don't worry...I am not going to introduce nuts yet but I did by some Macadamia nuts thinking I was going to make nut butter. They are salted....is that ok. Also, I found some cashew butter in the store which says the ingredients are dry roasted cashews, salt. I am curious about the dry roasted part. During the dry roasting process do they put any starch or spices that they do not include in the ingredients? If the Macadamia nuts are salted....what keeps the salt on the nut? They must do something to them in the dry roasting process. I should look for raw, right? This is ofcourse for later on once the green poo is gone.... Thanks Again! Guest guest
I don't see why you couldn't try it. And let us know how it goes! Anyone ever tried making baked goods with macadamia nuts as the base? We can't do almond, pecan, etc.
