Guest guest
I didn't realize Ashville was so far, I thought it was only about 4 hours from Chas. I'm sorry your not feeling well, I wish there was something I could do. Are you able to eat? I haven't heard from the Endo people about the job. I sure would love that tho, and it would be perfect for me. I have the skill and experience. I asked and Hawes to put in a good word for me but I dont know how much influence they would have on the hiring of the nursing staff. I do know that my previous nurse manager is not going to give me a recommendation, excessive abscenteism! Geese loweese, I was sick. How many times did I show up sick a a dog and worked hard, nope that doesn't count. Only that I was out of work a lot with post op and she does't think that I would be a reliable employee considering my health history and cant in good conscience recommend me. She cant tell prospective employers that I was ill, only that I had a history of excessive abscentes (I dont know how to spell that...LOL) if she can even say that, but I know she can say that she would not hire me. Hows that for a kick in the pants! So I doubt seriously that I will be returning to MUSC. Which is a shame as I am already vested in the system and have accrued a good retirement insofar. I also love it there, I really believe in the quality of care that is offered and that means a lot. I know it sounds hokey, but it is how I feel. Besides I think I am a great nurse and a hard worker. So I dont know what I am going to do. Time will tell I guess. Sorry to go on like that, did feel good to get it off my chest. Try to get some rest and eat something. Do you take enzymes? Hows your pain? Keep in touch and please let me know how things go. Warmly,
