I finally heard from Dr. Hawes office

I just wanted to say thanks so much for giving me Elaine's number. I called

her yesterday and she returned my call today. She said that they will schedule

me for a consult in the end of March. However, Dr. Hawes nor Dr. Cotton can

really help me. I cannot have any endoscopic procedures done because of my

gastric bypass. So, I guess they only thing they can do is the whipple

procedure.

My cyst is only 3 cm right now. Have any of you had anything done when your

cysts were still that size? Do they even do the endoscopic procedures when they

are only 3 cm? Elaine said that would be up to me and the surgeon more or less

since I cannot have any of the less invasive procedures.

My doc in Augusta GA. said that he will call me back Monday about a pain

management doc. Any advice on what I should say to them? Should I keep a pain

log

before I go to the doc?
