Guest guest
Please know that this is my best attempt to be as sensitive to you as possible. This is not a flame. I know you are experiencing complications, and for that, I am sorry. But, we all understood the possible risks of this and all other WLS's. I had minor complications that have resolved, thankfully. This is a support group that also serves information purposes to some. But, that is not the only function of this list. If one is seeking information, they should start at clos.net, medline, medscape, etc. This list is not the most extensive or comprehensive information source. This person can email post ops whose addresses are listed on the MGB site. So, the guise of information gathering is onion paper thin. Allowing others to purposely disrupt this list is not acceptable and that is why it is not tolerated. If one wants to engage in the negative rhetoric...they should join MGB-TRUTH. Even though I found it to be deceptive and divisive, someone else might find it helpful. I did not. So, I unsubscribed there three or four weeks ago. So, there is nothing fishy going on here. Many of us wish to be spared your compatriots' ill will. Those who want to hear her can go to her list or website. No one is trying to keep pre-ops in the dark. In fact, pre-ops should be required to use as a contact, and to read her website. I read this list daily, even though I rarely post. But, to pretend Dr R is doing a grave injustice by keeping order on this list is utter nonsense. Neither is the place to try to gather tid bits of information for insidious legal purposes. Allow counsel to exercise their expertise. Information is readily available for those who truly want it. Many want access to this list to promote their agendas. That is their right. But, this list is not the place for it. I have read your anger and frustration, and often wonder how this list or the post op list could still benefit you. You no longer require Dr R's services...so I fail to understand your attachment to the lists. The lists have probably outlived their usefulness to you as well. It is obvious that we have all failed you in some way as well. So, if information is needed for your friends, tell them to email me. I can give them a start to on their research. They consist of web, library, and other misc. sources. le (Flo...was this post better...I am trying to keep my word) - 70 pounds at five months post op. 23% body fat and teaching high impact aerobics three days a week size 14...down from a 20/22 272/202/124 or 18% body fat...whichever comes first. I will be getting voluntarity scoped at six months.
