Guest guest
Wondering if I could get some first hand insight on gallbladder pancreatitis. After my husband second attack, they did an ultrasound of his gallbladder. Gallstones run in his family, on both sides. It showed a " very tiny " dialation of the duct with " a little sludge " in the gallbladder. I've read that sludge can indeed cause a backup in the bile duct; enought to cause an acute attack of Pancreatitis. They did an ultrasound this last time and said it was " negative " , but I don't have an details yet. Question: For those of you who are knowlegable on the gallbladder issue.....can sludge or stone pass and be gone by the time they do an ultrasound, with little to no indication that anything had been there? They waited 2 1/2 days after the attack to do it. The last time they waited over 1 month. thanks again.
