Guest guest
, I do remember the days when the prunes, oatmeal and a stool softener were enough for me, too! Diabetes ruined that remedy, though, and now fruit is only a once a day treat, so that's the orange that I have for a snack each day. Yet even with this I have to inject insulin, I find myself avoiding some things, just because I don't feel like giving myself yet another needle. It's too bad about the nausea reaction with Miralax. I get the same reaction now from the Actonel I have to take once each week, even though nausea IS NOT listed as a side effect. It makes me nausiated for 24 hours and I'm not crazy about taking something that makes me feel that way! Monday's (today) is Actonel day, so I probably won't be able to eat all day as a result. I'm sorry that all these problems seem to be more consistent for you since the sphincterotomies.......with the good comes some bad, it isn't fair that this happens, yet it seems to be a CP standard. You finally got your diagnosis, yet have to suffer now that you did. I'll pray that it gets better for you, and hope that you have a good week ahead.
