Guest guest
Joyce, Yes you more than likely will be spending the night in the hospital. I took an bag with make up, toothbrush, etc. I could have taken a shower but I chose to wait to get back to the hotel. They were very nice at DRH. As for eating, etc. there are preop instructions in the patient manual however you should receive an e.mail from Barbara or someone in the office a week or so before surgery reminding you about meds, the wonderful Hibiclens showers, the MOM, etc. As for eating - a lot of people go out to " celebrate " the night before surgery but Dr. R really recommends that you eat lightly that day (the MOM does it's job pretty well) and you should eating nothing after midnight the night before your surgery. Hope this helps. on MGB 10/04/00 Preop 275 10/31/00 265 (my first plateau apparently)
