Cecelia...hope you don't mind that I'm answering this post..but I

have quite similar problems to both you and Laurie except for the

panc div...Dr. Lehman dx'd me with SOD and probable cp. Can you

tell me more about what sort of surgery you are thinking about

getting? I'm really very interested...my symptoms are SO similar to

your like I said w/o the panc. divisum. I'd be most grateful.

> YES! it is worth the drive. I have been his patient for three

years - and I travel 2000 miles - I live in Mesa, AZ. Your case is

almost EXACTLY my case - Panc Div., minor flare-ups on occasion -

manageable most of the time. He can and will tell you ALL the

different options, and there are some. from Wisc. also has a

similar case and sees Dr. Lehman. She has had good success with the

stents. I, on the other hand, have not, and am opting for surgery

11/24, even though I am " healthy " most of the time. I hope

will respond.
