Guest guest
Hello, I just wanted to thank those of you for taking the time to help. 's doctor is treating him for asthma. She put him on Singulair. I hope that this works, but I am not so sure. I would think that with Pulmacort and Albuterol given to him daily, he would get better. Also, he does not have GERD or any detectable allergies. His brother, my five year old, has asthma and is HIGHLY allergic to both indoor and outdoor molds. He is tremendously better on Singulair. However, like I told 's doc, 's (my five year old)asthma is very different from 's breathing problems. She responded by telling me that that was one of the reasons she wanted to have the sweat chloride test done, but that now we know that it is negative. You have to be well informed anymore when it comes to your health or the health of someone you love. Unfortuneately, the doctors advice can not always be solely relied upon. Being a nurse has been an eye opener!! I will suggest the DNA testing at his next appointment. Thanks again and God bless all of you and your precious little ones!
